Tyrone Spong Vs Nathan Corbett. By Steven Wright
Two great fighters, two great career paths, one big missed opportunity. It is not only part of fight sports, but sports in general. Those great match ups that slip through the cracks and never get made. The ones that would clarify who is number one and who is the better of the two greats. In Muaythai there are two such fights. One is WMC champ Buakaw Por. Pramuk Vs WBC champ Yodsaenklai Fairtex. The other is WFCA Champ Tyrone Spong Vs WMC and WBC Champion Nathan Corbett.

SLAMM!! By Thomas Larsen.
Return of Muaythai Fighting Rules in Holland!
During the last weekend of November 2008, the geniuses behind SLAMM Events, Milton Felter and Maikel Polanen staged another spectacular event in Almere, Holland - the event was a return of Muaythai rules fighting in Holland! The fight card was so stacked with HUGE names; I simply had to be there and as I departed from Copenhagen Airport I had no idea that this trip would bring so much joy and excitement!

“Iron” Mike Zambidis fresh from a win in GREECE Mike Zambidis managed to kick off the year knocking up his 155th win against the Danish Champion Rhassan Muhareb at the tournament hosted by Athletic Club “Minoas” in Heraclion, Crete. “Iron” Mike made an impressive and dynamic performance in the sold out arena with more than 3000 people cheering the Greek Champion. You have fought a few strong Australian fighters who would stand out the most as your toughest opponent and why? Although, they are not the strongest opponents I have had, they are big names worldwide, especially in Australia: I have played with John Wane Parr and Daniel Dawson, who I have won over. Of course, I enjoyed most the fight with Dawson because the match had many exchanges of hits and much of a show. On the other hand, Parr most of the time was trying to hug me!!!!

Kaoklai Academy and Kaoklai Interview – An Incredible Fighter – An Incredible Man.
By Caitalin Abu Baker-May. I was eight years old when I first started fighting – I started training because I struggled at school, being very shy and other boys fought me (he chuckles quietly recalling the fact) I couldn’t and didn’t have heart enough to fight back. I started Muaythai to make stronger my heart (his right hand slapping his chest to emphasis the point) and strength of body.
