England’s MUAYTHAI Legends

Steven Wakeling vs Diesellek Rungruangyon
Dan Green Promotions will now bring a CURRENT Rajadamenern Stadium Champion to fight in London on Saturday 16th August against British number one Steven Wakeling.

Unfortunately Sakmongkol has pulled out of Legends. Wakeling, obviously disappointed when told the news, responded like the true champion he is with "Get me the best Thai available that you can!" and Dan Green Promotions went out and did exactly that.

Former WBC, WMC and S-1 Champion Wakeling will now his greatest ever challenge yet against CURRENT Rajadamnern Champion, CURRENT WMC World Champion, CURRENT IKF World Champion and Thamthai tournament champion Diesellek Rungruangyon.

Diesellek who fights at both superwelterweight and lightmiddleweight comes into the bout following his unanimous points victory against Dutch superstar Marco Pique on the Jamaica show. Let's not forget Pique himself is an incredibly strong fighter himself  having fought in England before stopping one of our finest, Johnny Roye, in a Super Middle Weight European title fight. The bout in Jamaica on 20th June was for the IKF world title a belt which Diesellek added to his ever growing collection of Rajadamnern, WMC, Thamthai tournament and Japanese sanctioning body world title belts. Never has a Thai fought in England before that is the current holder of so many top prestigious belts.

The Rajadamnern belt Diesellek originally collected from Big Ben, one of many Thai superstars that Diesellek has beaten. Another top scalp on Diesellek's list is Nonthachai SitOr who beat Lamsongkram for the middleweight Rajadamnern title.

Wakeling though has his own selection of big names and titles under his belt. Not least the likes of John Wayne Parr & Jomhod and titles won include WMC, WBC. S-1 and WKA. This bout will truly be a contest between two of the best active MUAYTHAI fighters in the world.

France vs Kaoponglek
James France replaces David Pacquette against Thai legend Kaoponglek. Pacquette withdrew because of his girlfriend's pregnancy and we wish him and his growing family well.

Dan Green Promotions are grateful to James France and Richard Smith for France stepping in to fight so that the fans coming to see former Thailand fighter of the year Kaoponglek will not be disappointed!

France comes from one of the UKs top gyms, Bad Company Leeds, and has been on a roll of late winning the ISKA European title at the end of last year against top Czech fighter Zdenk and has just beaten Frenchman Yatabare Kisma. Kaoponglek though will be undoubtedly the best fighter he has faced in his career so far and will present a real test for him. Kaoponglek has already beaten Frankie Hudders, Kieran Keddle, Phil McAlpine, Tim Thomas, Michael Dicks & Mark Howie.

Could France now be the first Englishman to beat Kaoponglek?
